Every point below has affected all of us in one way or another. There is no doubt that the world has never seen such a dramatic shift from prosperity to pandemonium.

Each point below will trigger a response in each of us that will remind us of the unique situation that is the COVID-19 experience. Let the following ruminate and remind us of this extreme ongoing and seemingly never-ending event.

We have always been told to not discuss religion or politics. Now we can add COVID-19. What do you think?

  • Flatten the curve.
  • Wash your hands.
  • Toilet paper pandemonium.
  • Masks don’t work but wear them anyway.
  • Dr. Fauci
  • Hand sanitizer made in craft breweries.
  • “social distancing” or safe six.
  • Temperature checks.
  • Travel ban.
  • Sweden?
  • Breaking news every hour.
  • Daily case and the death count on every channel.
  • Front line workers.
  • Superspreader events.
  • No hugs, are elbow bumps ok?
  • Daily briefings.
  • Remote learning.
  • Home improvements.
  • Garden growing.
  • Curbside pickup.
  • Skip the Dishes.
  • Grocery delivery.
  • Binge-watching on TV.
  • 15-day lockdown now more than a year.
  • Follow the science.
  • Covid relief cheques.
  • It is ok to remove your mask when sitting and earing in a restaurant, not ok to stand.
  • Zoom calls.
  • Essential services.
  • Restricted access.
  • Obesity is high risk yet gyms closed.
  • Big box stores open, mom and pop stores not open.
  • No funerals or weddings.
  • No faith gatherings.
  • Empty stadiums and arenas with piped-in crowd noise.
  • Record alcohol sales.
  • Anti-masker.
  • Anti-vaxer.
  • Conspiracy theory.
  • Inject disinfectant?
  • Operation Warpspeed.
  • Pandemic porn.
  • Florida, Texas, Mississippi open but “neanderthal”.
  • Protests allowed but not funerals, weddings.
  • Cancel culture.
  • Vaccine effective but mask still required.
  • Racial unrest.
  • Depression.
  • Suicide.
  • We’re all in this together.
  • Divorce rampant.
  • Record abuse.
  • Brazillian strain ok but don't say Wuhan flu.
  • Stay in your bubble.
  • Protests and riots.
  • Absentee ballots.
  • Election manipulation.
  • Corruption exposed.
  • Corruption covered-up.
  • There’s no corruption.
  • Norther border closed, southern border open.
  • Vaccine passports.
  • Power and control.
  • Elected by the people now rule over the people.
  • Rampant fear.
  • Booster shots.
  • Pandemic now an endemic.
  • No more trust in media and politicians.

This list is by no means complete but enough to remind us of what we have all been through.

If you could go back in time to the moments before Covid-19 was recognized and said the above points were about to happen you would be laughed at.
